Look, we're tech people, not poets. But let's be real: if you're only using English words with your Spanish-speaking team or clients, you're missing a connection. And connection? That's the good stuff. Your devs in Madrid won't just "get" the feature faster, they'll own it. The SaaS sales pitch in Mexico City stops being a translation and starts being a conversation.

You don't just "hacer código." It sounds clunky. Here's the actual vocabulary your team uses.
El código / la base de código – Straightforward. This is "the code" or "codebase." La interfaz is your UI. El backend / El frontend are used as-is, no need to overcomplicate. Desplegar – That's "to deploy." "Vamos a desplegar la nueva versión mañana."
Git is life, so learn it. La rama is your branch. Confirmar is to commit. La fusión is the merge. "Hagamos una fusión de esa rama a la principal." Sounds way smoother than stumbling through it in English.
You can build a killer app, but if your sales and success teams are lost, you're toast. This is where you talk money and growth.
La tasa de abandono (churn rate) – The metric that keeps you up at night. "Tenemos que reducir la tasa de abandono." El embudo de ventas (sales funnel) – The whole journey from lead to cash.
El panel de control / El tablero – Your dashboard. Everyone needs one. El precio (pricing) , el nivel (tier) , and los usuarios activos mensuales (MAU) are non-negotiables. And for the love of all things holy, remember: la factura is the invoice. "¿Ya enviaste la factura al cliente?"
This is where language gets fun. You're describing feelings, flows, and frustrations.
La experiencia del usuario (UX) – The full experience. La interfaz del usuario (UI) – What they click and see. La prueba de usabilidad (usability testing) is your secret weapon. "Vamos a hacer pruebas de usabilidad la próxima semana."
El flujo del usuario (user flow) – Map it out. El camino del cliente (customer journey) – Think bigger picture. And that button you want them to press? That's la llamada a la acción (CTA) . Simple, direct, effective.
Nothing kills a deal faster than "Uh, how do you say 'GDPR compliance'?" Got to nail this vocab.
La nube (the cloud) – But where is it? En las instalaciones (on-premise) might be your answer. El cifrado (encryption) is key. "Todos los datos tienen cifrado de extremo a extremo."
El respaldo / La copia de seguridad (backup) – Save your work, people. La vulnerabilidad (vulnerability) is what you patch. And el cumplimiento de la ley (compliance) isn't boring, it's your license to operate.
